Lifenet Healthcare, a hospital and outpatient group founded in 2018, announces the acquisition of 100 percent of Valdisieve Hospital, a historic private hospital accredited with the National Health Service in Tuscany.
Founded in 1954 by the Sechi family, Valdisieve Hospital represents a landmark healthcare facility for the eastern area of the province of Florence, particularly for the Union of Municipalities of Valdarno and Valdisieve.
The facility, located in San Francesco Pelago and easily accessible from the Tuscan capital, has two operating rooms, an outpatient surgery room and 100 licensed beds.
The clinical offerings include general surgery, orthopedics and traumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, long-term care and internal medicine, as well as a complete diagnostic imaging service.
With this operation, Lifenet Healthcare strengthens its presence in Tuscany, where it is already active with the Fanfani Institute in Florence and Siena Eye Laser in Poggibonsi.
As part of the acquisition, Fabrizio Pulcinelli was appointed president of Valdisieve Hospital and Nicola Bedin CEO. The Board of Directors is completed by Mariacarlotta Rinaldini, Filippo Bartolucci and Roberto Totò.
