Fondazione Onda ETS promoted the Open Week on women’s health, which was joined by the Regina Apostolorum Hospital and the City of Aprilia Hospital.
The initiative took place last April on the occasion of the 11th National Day for Women’s Health.
Free clinical, diagnostic, and informational services were offered, dedicated to prevention and care.
Several clinical units took part, including the Obesity Center, Endocrinology, Clinical Nutrition, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
On April 22, at the Aprilia hospital, services were provided by appointment in the afternoon.
A total of 25 thyroid ultrasounds and 25 endocrinology consultations were performed for patients with obesity.
In addition, 15 personalized nutritional consultations were offered.
An information point was also set up, providing educational materials on prevention, obesity, and thyroid diseases.
On April 23, at the Albano Laziale facility, comprehensive gynecological examinations were organized.
Patients underwent Pap tests and transvaginal ultrasounds by appointment.
An information desk dedicated to women’s health was also set up at this location.
Since 2007, the Foundation has awarded the “Pink Stamp” (Bollino Rosa) to hospitals attentive to women’s health.
Both facilities received the recognition of three Pink Stamps in 2025.
General Director Gabriele Coppa emphasized the importance of the initiative, which represented a concrete commitment to prevention. Such initiatives strengthen the role of hospitals not only as places of care, but also as essential centers for prevention and health promotion.
