New facilities, advanced technology and an increasingly high-quality healthcare offering: on 21 September, the new Siena Eye Laser center in Poggibonsi was inaugurated. Part of the Lifenet Healthcare Group, Siena Eye Laser specializes in the treatment and prevention of eye diseases. The opening marks a further step in the center’s growth and strengthens its presence in the area, with services that are increasingly modern, accessible and focused on the quality of patient care.
At the inauguration, attended by the Mayor of Poggibonsi, Susanna Cenni, the new premises were unveiled: bright, functional spaces designed to make diagnostic and treatment pathways more efficient and comfortable, with cutting-edge instruments and technological solutions available to healthcare professionals.
“The opening of the new Poggibonsi facilities is a major investment in the area and in the future of Siena Eye Laser,” said Federico Nizzola, Chief Executive Officer of SEL. “We wanted to create a modern, functional environment able to keep pace with the evolution of ophthalmology. Our goal is to continue combining clinical expertise, innovation and attention to the individual.”
From 22 to 26 September, the new facilities also hosted a special display of an Aprilia Racing MotoGP bike, a symbol of technology and international motorcycle racing, highlighting the link between medicine and motorsport through innovation, precision and teamwork.
“We chose to accompany the inauguration with an initiative able to speak not only to industry insiders, but also to the community,” added Professor Antonio Leccisotti, Director of Siena Eye Laser. “The MotoGP bike immediately conveys the pursuit of maximum precision and performance, values we also see every day in our own work.”
With the new Poggibonsi center, Siena Eye Laser continues its development, offering the Siena and Val d’Elsa area increasingly high-quality prevention, diagnosis and treatment pathways.
