Lazzaro Spallanzani Medical Center of Reggio Emilia and PCM of Modena have joined School 2030, a project conceived by Gazzetta di Reggio Emilia and Gazzetta di Modena.

The Lazzaro Spallanzani Medical Center of Reggio Emilia and the PCM Medical Clinic of
Modena have enthusiastically joined the School2030 Project, each hosting two classes of
high school students for visits to their facilities.

School2030 is an initiative promoted by the Gazzetta di Modena and the Gazzetta di
Reggio Emilia that aims to foster communication, education, and career guidance for new
generations, offering them tools to understand current events, explore professions, and
become more familiar with the territory where they live.

During the visit days, students were able to experience the activities of the two healthcare
centers firsthand, meeting doctors, technicians, and administrative staff, thus gaining
deeper insight into the various professional roles in the medical-healthcare sector. This
represented a concrete opportunity to approach an increasingly strategic and
multidisciplinary field of work.

The initiative is part of the professional orientation pathway of the School2030 project,
which involves collaboration with local companies and institutions to offer young people a
real and stimulating overview of career opportunities available in their territory.

The initiative confirms the value of synergy between institutions, the professional world,
and schools, strengthening the connection between education and territory, with the
awareness that knowledge is the first step toward building a conscious and sustainable
future. The two closing events of the Project took place during the week of May 12.
